In drying process, wet material is first sent to feed port by a conveyor, then to the stock guide by the chute inside the end socket, then to the cylinder. The cylinder is slant. The material enters from the higher end and gets out from the lower end. There is a shoveling plate installed on the inner wall of the cylinder, which lifts the material and scatter them to make them form a curtain, thus the material can have a full contact with the heat air, in that case, the drying speed is improved and the material moving speed is accelerated. Wet materials get heat directly or indirectly from the heat carrying agent when they are lifted and moving forward, so the moisture is evaporated. The evaporated moisture is discharged by the induced draft fan. Thus, the materials get dried and the dehydration is realized. After the heat carrying agent and wet air going through the Rotary Drum Dryer, cyclone dust collector is usually needed to collect the material carried by the air.
